When vulnerability and weakness penetrated popular resistance and armed actions became futile; after French colonialism imposed influence on most of the country's regions, Algerians had to take a new approach to resist French colonialism which is the political resistance or what is known as the political struggle movement or the national movement, it relied on a different method than before lifting regulations and making protest petitions. They founded parties, published newspapers, and participated in elections in an attempt to realize their rights or at least reform the situation of Algerians.
