Since the beginning of the revolution in 1954, diplomacy was devoted to serve the Algerian matter, and that was for what it required as a role on the international arena with its contribution in the protection of the services, alleviate the war, and work on the restoration of the national sovereignty stolen from the French colonization. For this reason, the leaders of the revolution went through a strong diplomatic fight to gain the international recognition of the revolution’s legitimacy and the Algerians' demands.
